    **Responsibilities**: - Reviewing and investigating sensitive matters, as appropriate, occurring within the businesses and at locations within the Region. This includes fully investigating and closing out cases resulting from reports to the Bridgestone Bridgeline, the Company’s ethics and compliance platform. - Consulting with Management and Human Resources on appropriate handling of serious personnel matters (e.g., harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, Company policy violations, etc.) ensuring proper discovery and due diligence, appropriate advocacy for involved parties, and consistency in outcomes and actions. - Enabling Company Managers and Supervisors at all levels to effectively manage and support their work teams through leadership development. - Partnering with local Human Resources to assess teammate relations within their respective businesses, developing plans and guiding agendas designed to increase teammate engagement and commitment. - Mentoring and training junior staff on the investigatory process, including preparation, interviews and reporting. - Tracking employment trends and nonconformances, assessing risk and advising senior leaders on gaps and opportunity areas. - Establishing strategies and forums for teammates to express themselves while influencing their work environments; thus, mitigating teammate perceptions concerning the need for external or third-party involvement and/or representation. - Conducting both formal and informal sensing to understand underlying employment discrepancies and opportunities. - Functioning as a liaison with the Bridgestone Americas Human Resources and Legal Departments. - Performing other duties as necessary and assigned Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Management, or other relevant discipline. - 5+ years of employee relations, labor or legal experience - Working knowledge of employee relations and employment/labor law, particularly areas that involve ethics, legal compliance, concerted activity and organizing. - Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and influence from executive levels to frontline teammates. - Strong collaboration skills, with the demonstrated ability to gain consensus among diverse groups of stakeholders. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak and write in English and Spanish - Human Resources, Employee Relations and/or Labor experience in manufacturing environments. - Experience with employee sensing and surveys, leadership development, investigations and/or ethics compliance
